"Through a Souderton Area Education Foundation grant the stories of our Sudanese students from the Dinka tribe in Africa will be part of recorded history. The Bridges Project enabled SAHS teachers and students to assemble and print a book that not only told of the Sudanese experiences, but served as a bridge of understanding between English as a Second Language (ESL) students and students in the AP composition class."

"Achieving E.M.C. (Excellence in Mathematical Communication) at EMC is a new project for the 2004-05 school year made possible by an Education Foundation grant. Time and resources are provided for teachers to learn about and develop models and expectations for problem solving instruction. The goal of this project is to strengthen students’ ability to approach and solve problems as evidenced in their day-to-day classroom activities, district benchmarks, and state assessments."
